Awesome - I thought this blog had finished! And here it is, still going!
I was thinking - is there a general Newtown discussion board? I just joined the Facebook Newtown discussion thing, and was wondering if that's what people are doing?
Nosey in Newtown is about what goes on right under your nose. It's curosity about your habitat and engagement with your home. It's treading every footpath and delighting in every funny-looking dog and finding the beautiful in the familiar. It's about talking to the local shopkeepers and feeling connected with your community. It's about reclaiming the right to be a nosey neighbour. Not being invasive, or meddling, but sticking your nose around a few corners and sniffing around for surprising finds. Because what's going down in your neighbourhood is your business.
Have you been Noseyed?
If you've received a Nosey In Newtown calling card like this, then you've been Noseyed! You've inspired your neighbours to ponder something intriguing or wonderful that you have done. It would be lovely if you could leave a comment or send an email to let Nosey know more. No-one's privacy is invaded on Nosey In Newtown, and the location of private property is never revealed, but if you'd prefer to be removed from the site, that's no problem at all.

Hey, that"s not in Newtown!
Newtown is the native habitat of Noseys, but they can be found in Enmore, Camperdown, St Peters and sometimes a bit of Erskineville.

On the last one: I think question marks and no quotations was a better call.
I have seen that cat and yes, I wanted to knock on the glass.
So funny! Thought you'd like to see this:

That last one is pretty funny with the question marks???
Don't forget the lonely lion on the north side of Alice St in someone's front yard!
There is a life size lion and tiger statue in the front yard of a house in Petersham too!!
I saw the cat and i knocked on the glass. I must say that the cat needs a bath and someone needs to clean all the hair off where it sits
Tokey. I love that cat.
And hey - nice work here:

I love that cat too. A cat in a wool shop - so appropriate!

haha my mum wrote the Champion sign (she works there part-time), and yes her grammar can be hilarious on occasion.
Tokie is a great cat who is very well looked after.
maybe one day the cats of newtown will take over and start banging on the windows of cafes, scaring people who are reading the newspaper...
